Our Philosophy
Somewhere between the generic package tour and the exhausting solo adventure, there’s a gap. A space for travel that’s thoughtfully organised but doesn’t feel corporate. Cultural but also fun. LGBTQ+ focused but not defined entirely by that.
That’s what Omnia Horizons is. Small-group journeys for LGBTQ+ travellers who want great experiences, great company, and — let’s be honest — a few great nights out along the way too.
What we are, at our core
There’s a particualr kind of magic that only happens when you travel with the right people. The dinner that starts at eight and ends at two. The bar nobody had heard of until someone in the group found it.
That’s not luck. That’s what good group travel, done properly, actually produces. And it’s exactly what we design for.
Omnia Horizons brings together small groups of LGBTQ+ travellers — curious, open, genuinely up for it — and builds them a journey worth having together. We combine the things you came to see (the iconic spots are iconic for a reason, and we don’t pretend otherwise) with the experiences you simply couldn’t find alone: a mezcal tasting with the person who distilled it, a chef cooking in their own home, a neighbourhood that hasn’t made it onto any list yet but absolutely should.
The result is a trip that feels less like a tour and more like a chapter — one you’ll still be talking about a year later.
What ever journey includes
01
Small groups — never more than 15. Big enough to be social, small enough to actually connect.
02
A Lead Explorer, for the whole trip. Part of the group, not just running it.
03
The iconic and the unexpected. Must-see highlights alongside moments most visitors never reach.
04
Private and exclusive experiences you simply cannot book independently.
05
Real free time, built in. This is not a packed schedule with with no room to breathe.
06
LGBTQ+ affirming hosts, guides, and partners throughout every destination.
How we think about travel
You can visit a world-class archaeological site in the morning and end up at a rooftop bar in the evening with people you’ve just metbut already feel like you’ve known for years. We think that’s not a contradiction — it’s exactly the point.
Every itinerary blends the must-sees with the genuinly off-grid, private access, exclusive experiences, and places that haven't been written about yet.
Small groups mean you get to know people. Most solo travellers expect a decent trip and leave with a new set of friends. A lead Explorer travels with you for the whole journey.
Hotels, transfers, guides, bookings, local tips — all handled. You just need to pack and show up ready to enjoy it.
What makes our experiences different
Every destination has a version most visitors see — and a version that takes trust, local relationships, and genuine curiousity to access. We design our journeys around the second kind, without skipping the first.
Here are the kinds of experiences that make an Omnia Horizons trip what it is.
How each trip is structured
Every Omnia Horizons trip is built around three types of time — and the balance between them is part of what makes the experience feel right.
The experience that define the journey — private access, curated encounters, group dinners, local guides. Arranged, paid for, and built in. You don’t need to think about them
— Private mezcal palenque visit, Oaxaca
— Queer History Walk, Mexico City
— Temple morning with monks, Chiang Mai
— Sunset catamaran, Zipolite
— Local chief dinner, Oaxaca
A curated menu of add-on experiences — things that go deeper into a specific interest, or simply things not everyone will want. Book as many or as few as you like.
— Temazcal ceremony
— Surf lesson, Ilha Grande
— Cooking class with a local family
— Day trip to a nearby village or site
— Nightlife with the group — your call
Genuinely unscheduled time, built into every itinerary. Sleep in, explore solo, bond over a long lunch, or simply do nothing. No agenda. no guilt.
— Morning to explore the neighbourhood solo
— Afternoon beach time, no plans
— One full rest day mid-trip
— Evenings where the group decides spontaneously
The lead explorer
The Lead Explorer is a traveller first — LGBTQ+, curious, and genuinely there for the experience, just like everyone else in the group.
They eat at the same table, share the same moments, and get invested in the people around them. The difference is a quiet responsibility running underneath: making sure no one feels left out, reading the room, and keeping the group’s energy alive.
The practical side — transfers, timings, local contacts — is handled without fuss, so nothing takes the shine off the trip. But that’s never what defines them.
They’re not a tour manager. They’re the reason the group feels like one.
A traveller, like you — curious, open, there for the same reasons everyone else is.
Present for the whole trip — day one to the last day, not just organised parts
The glue of the group — making sure everyone feels included, connected and looked after
Logistics in the backgroup — handled, so the trip flows and you never have to think about it

Safety and belonging
Every destination, partner, and host we work with is carefully chosen with LGBTQ+ safety and comfort in mind. We do our homework before we build an itinerary — not after. If we’re not confident you can travel freely and openly somewhere, we don’t go there.
Every hotel, guide, and experience provider is selected for their LGBTQ+ affirming approach — not just their quality.
We research safety conditions thoroughly before adding a destination to our programme. If we wouldn’t feel comfortable, we don’t go.
Travelling with an LGBTQ+ group in an inclusive environment changes how a destination feels. You can just be yourself — from the first day
